Crewe boss Dario Gradi wants his club to reintroduce their own scouts after ex-boss Gudjon Thordarson employed an external company to do their scouting. Gradi reckons the company doesn't provide enough information on opponents. Southend captain Adam Barrett has acknowledged the club is going through 'a difficult time' but has refused to comment about claims about wages not being paid.

Chesterfield have had winger Dominic Green recalled by Peterboro after ten games and two goals. He had played in all the games of their six match winning run, that ended with the loss to Aldershot at the weekend. Mansfield have agreed a new ten year lease on Field Mill with former club owner Keith Haslam. The deal means the club can win promotion to the Football League.

Huddersfield have confirmed that their club has been taken over in it's entirely by Dean Hoyle after he bought the remaining shares from former Chairman Ken Davy.
