Hereford United manager Graham Turner has expressed his concern that the pitch at Accrington might not be in very good condition when they Bulls play there tomorrow afternoon.
"I talked to the Grimsby people who had been up there the week before and they said the pitch is the worst they had played on for many years," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"I don't think that it's totally Accrington's fault as we have had a bad winter and if you were unlucky you caught fixtures at the wrong time when the pitches were heavy and full of water.
"They could deteriorate to such an extent that you can't improve them again until the close season."
Turner is expected to make a couple of changes for the match from the side he started with at Bournemouth.
"Mathieu Manset missed the game at Bournemouth with a groin strain. We expect him to be fit.
"Ryan Green has a slight thigh problem. We'll leave that as long as we can before making a decision. If he's not fit I've got Keith Lowe to come into the side."
It's also thought James McQuilkin will start instead of Sam Gwynne.
Meanwhile away from the 'share' news, life goes on at Edgar Street.
Season ticket prices for the next campaign are expected to be released next week and new home kit has been ordered.
