Ben Smith scored at both ends last night as Crawley lost 4-1 at Barrow. He put through his own net before levelling at the right end, but Barrow crashed in three more goals, including one from Nick Chadwick, without his help.
Meanwhile, two players have spoken to the press about being out of contract in the summer. Sammy Igoe, now 34, is out of contract in June and told the Bournemouth Echo: "I would be lying if I said I hadn't thought about next season but I just want to see us get promoted first and then wait and see what happens.
"I think everyone knows I find this league hard at times because it's a lot more physical. The higher you go in the divisions, the more football is played. It becomes more of a technical game and that would suit me down to the ground."
Andy Williams is also out of contract at Bristol Rovers. The former Bulls trainee is in the last year of his original three year deal after costing them £100,000. He has struggled to make an impact in League One, scoring just twice this season from 15 starts and 24 sub appearances. he told the Bristol Evening Post: "Our aim at the start of the season was to improve on the last campaign. If we fail to pick up enough points in the last few games we will have failed to achieve that.
"I am also still hoping to get a new contract, so there is still a lot for me to fight for. I hope that I can keep fighting in these last few games and get rewarded for it."
