Barnet have named Mark Stimson as their new manager.
He will be assisted at Underhill by his regular no.2 Scott Barrett, who has followed Stimson around from Grays, through Stevenage, and more recently at Gillingham. They will form a three-man management team with recent coaching addition Michael Stone, with Paul Fairclough overseeing their Hive training facility and coaching the under 18's.
Chairman Tony Kleanthous told their official site: "Because of all the investment we need to push for promotion next season". They finished last season with just three wins in 15 games to finish just four points clear of the drop zone, and are currently 100/1 to win the division and 16/1 to win promotion.
Meanwhile Crystal Palace are reported to be safe after a later than last-minute deal on the ground between the CPFC2010 group and Bank of Scotland over Selhurst Park.
