Hereford United have called a press conference for Friday afternoon to unveil the new Chairman and Vice Chairman.
No further details have currently been released, but it will bring to an end a sustained period of uncertainty at the club since Graham Turner announced his decision to sell his shares on April 16th.
In the seven weeks since a plethora of groups, often the same names in different combinations, have been put as potential purchasers of the club. The list of rumoured buyers has included a slew of ex-players, at least one former manager, and assorted media personalities and former directors and chairmen at other clubs.
The only thing thats Turner has promised from the sale is that a decision would be made 'for sound footballing reasons' and that the new people would make the supporters happy.
UPDATE: Worcester News report that the press conference will be at 2pm.
