The draw for the first round of the Carling Cup takes place this morning. Hereford United are un-seeded and in the southern section.
Tomorrow sees the release of the League Two fixture list.
Meanwhile former Hereford United player Gareth Davies has told Bulls News that he thinks Simon Davey would be a good choice should he be confirmed as the Bulls new manager.
Davies first met Davey when the Darlington manager was a youngster on the books at Swansea City.
"He's only 39 and is ambitious," said Davies.
"In my opinion he ticks all the right boxes."
Davies also confirmed that he has spoken to the new regime at Edgar Street.
