Good Start For New Regime

It's not even a week since the 'new' regime took over at Hereford United but there are already signs that the club is to be steered in a more supporter-friendly manner.

And the news that Ryan Green has agreed another one year deal, with Darren Jones expected to follow, has helped to lift spirits around Edgar Street and beyond.

Kenny Lunt is due to speak to the new chairman, David Keyte, today and it's now seems quite likely that he will also agree a new deal.

A new manager will be appointed this week and possibly a coach as well.

Keyte has also said he is hopeful of having an open day just before the start of the new season and a fans forum, possibly in September. It's over three years since events like this took place.

The message from Edgar Street has changed. Graham Turner once said if we lose a few supporters so what. David Keyte wants to get as many fans back onside as soon as possible.

There is a long way to go for Keyte and his vice-chairman Tim Russon, but judging on the words and action from them so far, they've had a good start.

And perhaps one way supporters could give them a vote of confidence would be by considering an early purchase of a season ticket.
