Southend have admitted that they will consider offers for all their players after captain Adam Barrett became the second player in a week to submit a written transfer request. The club say that 95% of their staff have received May's wages but that, with some players still on Championship level wages, they will consider offers to get the wage bill down.

Chesterfield are reported to be chasing released Barnsley defender Rob Kozluk and former Grimsby defender Simon Ford. Newport boss Dean Holdsworth has signed a new two year deal with the club.
