Rotherham have joined Crewe in chasing Bury defender Ryan Cresswell. The 23 year old Rotherham born defender had a brief loan spell with his hometown club three years ago. Grimsby striker John-Louis Akpa Akpro has turned down a new deal with the club as he wants to remain in League football. He scored eight times in sixty games over two years for the Mariners.
Stevenage defender Michael Bostwick has attracted interest from a trio of League One clubs. The former Ebbsfleet man was their player of the year as they won promotion to the League. Rotherham striker Adam Le Fondre has not attracted bids from Leicester and Derby according to his agent, who adds they have an agreement with the Millers over interest from higher graded sides.
Big spending Fleetwood have signed ex-Accrington captain Peter Cavanagh following the expiry of his ban for betting. He was expected to sign for Stanley after the eight month ban expired.
