The End Of An Era

This afternoon Hereford United supporters will, at last, find out who or whom has purchased the shares of both chairman Graham Turner and company secretary Joan Fennessy.

It's unlikely that either thought they would have spent so long at the club when they were appointed. For Graham Turner it will be close to 15 years, and for Mrs Fennessy 34 years, since their first days at Edgar Street.

In footballing terms to stay with one club for such long periods is virtually unheard of.

And it should be noted that they will leave with Hereford United still in business, still in League football, and still with supporters throughout the world.

The press conference is due to take place at 2pm when Turner will announce who is to be the new chairman and vice-chairman of the club. He will also make a 'final statement'.

Those supporters who subscribe to Bulls Player will be able to hear the proceedings from around 1.55pm.
