David Keyte has spoken further to the official site about the three man shortlist to be manager.
He tells them: "Two of them are currently in employment, current managers. One of them is in a higher league, one of them is lower, in the Conference, the third one is an interesting one, but he's not got a great deal of experience."
While the list of Conference managers with ambitions to manage in the League is only limited to the number of clubs in the Conference, and the two Holdsworth brothers at Mansfield and Newport respectively have previously been touted as candidates, the number of currently employed managers who could be coaxed down the divisions to the Bulls is likely to be limited.
Two current managers 'higher up' are expected to be released by their clubs following relegation. Championship Plymouth are expected to dispense with the services of Paul Mariner as soon as they have a new manager in place, while League One Stockport are expected to return to Jim Gannon - freeing up current incumbent Gary Ablett.
Now the rumours about the incoming shareholders have finished, it's now time for the jungle drums to start beating about the managerial appointment.
