Gillingham have signed winger Bruce Inkango on a short term deal following a trial. Dagenham midfielder Stuart Thurgood has been forced to retire due to a serious knee injury. He damaged cartilage last November, but four operations since have failed to cure the problem.
Darlington's attempts to sign free agent striker Leon Knight have collapsed after former club Rushden, who sacked Knight in 2008, demanded a £30,000 fee.
