Gillingham have signed winger Bruce Inkango on a short term deal following a trial. Dagenham midfielder Stuart Thurgood has been forced to retire due to a serious knee injury. He damaged cartilage last November, but four operations since have failed to cure the problem.

Darlington's attempts to sign free agent striker Leon Knight have collapsed after former club Rushden, who sacked Knight in 2008, demanded a £30,000 fee. Oldham boss Paul Dickov says that players that were out of their price range in the summer are now offering to play for the club for free in a bid to earn a contract due to clubs slashing their squad sizes.

Wycombe have banned four supporters from home games, and from buying tickets for away matches, with the local press suggesting they were involved in forming a hooligan group on a forum.
