Results Round Up

The Bulls stay rooted at the foot of the League Two table after tonights results.

You don't normally get a relegation six-pointer in early October but Saturday's trip to Barnet is being lined up for it after they lost 4-2 at Wycombe to retain their place a single point above the Bulls. Morecambe come a further place and point higher after they were the other side to lose 4-1 at home tonight with Bury doing the business. Bradford moved onto eight points with a goalless draw at Rotherham, as did Lincoln who got the same result with Burton. Cheltenham's slide down the table continues as they drew 1-1 at home with Oxford, while Macclesfield earned a valuable point with a 1-1 draw at Crewe.

At the top Port Vale beat Shrewsbury 1-0 to go four points clear of Rotherham and Chesterfield, with the Spireites winning 2-1 at Northampton. The Shrews are fourth ahead of Bury, with Torquay sixth after losing 1-0 at home to Aldershot. Stevenage take the final play-off spot from Accrington who drew 2-2 at Stockport. In the other game Gillingham and Southend drew 0-0.

In the Conference Fleetwood are top after winning 2-0 at Barrow, with Newport second after their 3-1 win over Forest Green. Kidderminster lost 2-0 at Bath.
