Lund Is Second Loan Signing

Stoke midfielder Matthew Lund has joined the Bulls on a months loan, the Premier side have confirmed.

The 20 year old was signed from Crewe's Academy side with Tony Pulis telling the Stoke official site: "This will be a good chance for Matty to gain his first experience of playing regular first team football at this level and it is important he gets such an opportunity now to further his development."

Lund was one of a pair of Academy starlets that controversially switched to near-neighbours Stoke in 2009 after coach Steve Holland had made the move. Lund cost the Potters £80,000 as an 18 year old in a tribunal deal that could rise to £430,000.

Stoke have given permission for Lund to play in Saturday's Cup game against Lincoln City if selected.
