Some major news is expected from Hereford United tomorrow according to Mark Farmer, one of the official site webmasters.
"The impression I got was certainly good news," said Farmer.
This news could relate to the lease situation at Edgar Street which has been under discussion for several months with both the owners of the ground, Herefordshire Council, and the Richardsons who hold the first lease.
Hereford United chairman David Keyte recently said that he was hopeful that the club could regain the leases of the ground. To do this he needs an agreement with the Richardsons which in effect would mean they would relinquish their interest.
However there is also the matter of the £1M plus debt to the Richardsons and it's highly unlikely that they will not want at least a gesture towards the debt especially if they have agreed to give up the lease.
Another major news story which has been in hibernation recently is the proposed development of the Blackfriars End of the ground. Chairman Keyte has said he is minded to change the original plans drawn up by former chairman Graham Turner's architect into a stand with a larger capacity.
