News Round Up

Bury's home match with Shrewsbury has been picked for live Sky coverage at the end of January. FC United's FA Cup replay with Brighton has been selected by EPSN for coverage. Tonight's League Two match between Cheltenham and Southend has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Cheltenham chairman Paul Baker says the club will sign more players in January if they are in the top ten. They estimate they have made £50,000 from their cup run with £30,000 coming from gate receipts from their 3-0 loss at Southampton. Tamworth have confirmed Des Lyttle as their permanent manager after a spell as caretaker.

Stevenage have extended the loan of Birmingham winger James O'Shea until January. He has played six times in his month at the Lamex Stadium so far. Oxford defender Jake Wright will miss two months with a fractured bone in his foot. Plymouth have failed to pay the wages of either their players or office staff for November. They say it is because their bank account has been frozen after they received another notice of winding up proceedings.
