Pitman is a Brilliant Bloke says Lowe

Former Hereford United defender Keith Lowe, who is expected to return to edgar Strreet tomorrow with Cheltenham has been telling the Gloucester Citizen about his respect for Jamie Pitman, the Hereford United care-taker manager.

"I can’t say I am surprised he’s got the job because he has all the attributes to be a decent manager," Lowe said.

"He is a brilliant bloke and we got on well. The good thing for him is that he has been able to oversee everything that’s been going on and he has got a good football brain."

Lowe also said he was diappointed not to have been given more starts whilst with Hereford last season.

"I was not given a proper run in the team and if I had been, I’m sure I’d have shown the fans how good a player I am.

"I didn’t get too much of a go in the team to make a big impression at Hereford so the football wasn’t great, but I made a lot of friends there and it will be good to go back there."
