Barnet beat Northampton 4-1 to climb off the bottom of the table but they remain in the drop zone a point short of the Cobblers and Oxford. The U's lost 1-0 at home to Gillingham - the Gills first away win for two whole managers - that keeps the Kent club out of the bottom two. They're on 18 points along with Morecambe who drew 1-1 at Cheltenham. Four sides are then on 19 points, one of them Lincoln. Stockport drew 1-1 with Torquay, Aldershot lost 2-0 at home to Chesterfield, and Southend drew 1-1 at Shrewsbury. Bradford and Accrington are in mid-table but only five points clear of the bottom with the Bantams losing 1-0 at home to Macclesfield and Accrington beating Stevenage 1-0.
At the top Chesterfield's win means they are two points clear from Port Vale, who beat Wycombe 2-1, with Bury in third after beating Burton 3-1 last night. Rotherham are fourth after a 1-0 win at Crewe, with Shrewsbury, Wycombe, and Torquay making up the play-off spots.
In the Conference Crawley lead the table by a point after beating Altrincham 7-0, with Luton taking second with a 5-1 demolition of Histon. AFC Wimbledon play on Sunday and can take top spot with a win. Kidderminster beat Eastbourne 2-1 to move within goal difference of a play-off spot, and Forest Green drew 1-1 with Gateshead to move out of the drop zone on goals scored.
