Lincoln Game Off

Tomorrow evening's FA Cup Second Round replay between Lincoln City and Hereford United has been postponed for the second time.

The game will now be played, hopefully, next Tuesday December 21st with a 7.45 pm kick-off.

Lincoln-based Football League official Gary Sutton, who postponed Saturday's game against Oxford United, carried out an inspection shortly after 5.00pm and, with large area of the playing surface in front of the GoCar Stand, which had been under the newly-purchased covers, still heavily frozen and with temperatures not set for an increase over the next 24 hours, he recommended to the Football Association that the match be postponed.
