News Round Up

Barely a month after heralding their new fiancial rules as a success, the Conference have confirmed that they have charged a second club with misconduct over submitting misleading data. Histon have followed Kidderminster in being charged with breaking the rules on the day that the players confirmed they had not been paid their wages and didn't know when they would arrive.

Mansfield have been told by the Conference they will face sanctions if they do not have a suitably graded ground by December 20th to play their Boxing Day game. Cheltenham have released midfielder Josh Emery, son of ex-Bull Steve. The 20 year old Ledbury born player had struggled this season with injury and was given the option to leave with no prospect of first team football.

Gillingham have failed to persuade Peterboro to extend the loan on loan duo Chris Whelpdale and Charlie Lee. The pair scored four times between them in four games, helping the club to three wins out of four having failed to win in the previous five matches. Ex-Bull Craig King has extended his loan at Northampton for a second month. The Leicester forward has played six times for the Cobblers but is yet to score.
