After this afternoon's 1-0 defeat at Bradford, Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman said that he felt the Bulls had probably been the better team but had come away with nothing.
"If anything we lacked a little bit of quality in the final third," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Probably that little bit of quality would have made a difference today.
"We had our chances, we had our moments, set-pieces we looked bright from, rather disappointing to be fair.
"It was a wonder strike, the lad hit it very well, there wasn't much we could do about that.
"We took the game by the scruff of the neck, we created and passed it.
"When you go 1-0 down after seven minutes it lifts the crowd and has an affect on the game.
"We are adrift but we have to keep digging in there."
Janos Kovacs returned to the team today after a long spell on the sidelines.
"He did excellent. He won the majority of his headers. Him and Towns played very well together.
"Adam has made another couple of good saves."
Next up is the FA Cup replay at Lincoln on Tuesday.
"The only loanee who can't play is Byron Webster, hopefully Rob Purdie and Richard Rose will be back in the squad. They are very influential players for us."
