With the cold snap and heavy snow affecting large parts of the country, some of this weekend's matches are already in doubt.
Aldershot report three inches of snow on their covered pitch already with more on the way ahead of Saturday's game with Bradford, while the pitch itself is reported to be frozen and unlikely to thaw out in time. It's a similar story at Gillingham where manager Andy Hessenthaler told the press it would be 'very doubtful' that their match with Rotherham would go ahead, while at Crewe they are considering a Friday inspection to save Wycombe from travelling.
For the Bulls the forecast is better than most. While temperatures are expected to drop as low as -7 on Thursday night, Friday is expected to be milder with Saturday getting above freezing in the morning.
The pitch, covered immediately after last weekend's match, should be playable at 3pm if the forecasters are correct.
Meanwhile, Lincoln's preparations to face the Bulls next Tuesday in the FA Cup replay are being hampered. Not only has their normal training pitch been frozen out of action but their £130,000 high-tech 3G astroturf all-weather surface, installed in the summer, has also been sidelined by the weather.
