Tony Capaldi is coming to the end of his short term deal at Morecambe and has already had a trial at Aberdeen.
However the left back might be an ideal signing for Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman if he could be persuaded to return to Edgar Street.
With Ryan Valentine side-lined for several months, the Bulls need a left-back. Whilst currently Joe Heath is filling the cap, his loan from Exeter is up towards the end of the month and there is a feeling amidst some supporters that he's been found wanting particularily at Aldershot where their winger Jermaine McGlashan gave him a torrid time.
After leaving Hereford in 2002, Capaldi played at Plymouth, Cardiff and Leeds before joining Morecambe last August. However he's only made five first team starts so far.
Capaldi is 29 years old.
