Joe Heath, the Hereford United left-back who was sent off at Hillsborough yesterday, is expected to miss both the Torquay away game on Tuesday and next Saturday's home game against Lincoln City. (Update - It has been pointed to BN out that Heath may only miss one game. Confirmation will be on the FA list tomorrow.)
Whilst there is a view that Heath might have been harshly punished when he and Sheffield striker Clinton Morrison tangled in the penalty box, it's not thought the Bulls will appeal against the card. Manager Pitman could give Tyler Weir his position at Plainmoor.
Ryan Green should also start on Tuesday in place of Richard Rose at right back. Rose had a difficult game yesterday and could be restored to mid-field.
In any case with so many matches in the next six weeks Pitman may decide to vary the line-up so as to give one or two players a break.
Meanwhile Torquay will be without former Hereford United trialist Chris Zebroski on Tuesday as he was sent off yesterday in their FA cup game against Crawley.
