It's Winnable says Pitman

Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman has said that this evening's Cup-tie at Wycombe is 'winnable' but that might depend on strikers Stuart Fleetwood and Mathieu Manset continuing their recent good form.

"They have both been doing excellently lately,” Pitman told the Worcester News.

"They are linking up very well and scoring goals.

"Hopefully, they can fire us into the next round as it is a winnable tie and it would be great for everyone at the club if we could progress in the cup."

Pitman hasn't revealed who might replace the suspended Ryan Green at right back this evening. However it looks as though the game has come too soon for Rob Purdie who is recovering from a ham-string strain.

Whoever he chooses and whatever formation he starts with, the defence will need to be much more alert than they were at Lincoln last Saturday.
