Wycombe manager Gary Waddock is hopeful his side can return to winning ways against Hereford in the FA Cup tomorrow evening after the disappointment of losing at Crewe last Saturday.
"Saturday was disappointing purely because of the way we conceded the goals - the first two were scored in quick succession and after that we weren't able to get back into the game," said Waddock as reported by the Wycombe OS.
"Before that, it was a good run and now we have to start another one.
"Hereford's results have been very good and their win at the weekend over Lincoln shows that they can score goals.
"Their manager has made it quite public that they play an attacking style and the game here a few weeks ago was a tight one, so we know what to expect.
"We're in the middle of busy yet important period in the league but the FA Cup is a very special competition and whatever team we put out on Tuesday will be a strong one. We know that if we beat them, we can look ahead to Sheffield Wednesday in the next round, but if they put in a good performance and beat us, we'll have to get on with the league."
