Canham Gets Praise

Kidderminster's ex-Bulls forward Lee Morris has told the press he wants to form a partnership with loan Bull Sean Canham.

Morris is currently out with a thigh injury that prompted Kiddy to bring Canham in and the ex-Derby forward was quick to make enquiries at Edgar Street about his new teammate, telling the Express and Star:

“I have spoken to a couple of the lads at Hereford who rate him really highly and I would like to play up front with him if I can get myself back in the team. That’s the way football is, wherever you are, you have got to fight for your place.”

Canham played 74 minutes of his debut at Aggborough on Saturday, having an opening minute strike ruled out for offside. He told the paper:

“I have scored at places I’ve been before and I hope to do that here. Chances will come – the way we play is brilliant going forward, chances are created and I’m sure I’ll get myself on the end of one and stick it in, legally this time. It’s good fun, I’m enjoying being here.”

Meanwhile former Bulls forward Jimmy Quinn has been made Director of Football at Nantwich Town. The former Northern Ireland international has been out of managerial work since leaving Bournemouth at the end of 2008. He will assist joint managers Darren Tinson and Kevin Street, both former players under Quinn at Shrewsbury.

In other ex-Bull news Mark Robinson made the switch from Guiseley to Boston United ahead of last night's game with Stalybridge but lasted just 45 minutes after suffering a large gash to an ankle in the match. He is likely to miss several weeks after needing several stitches to the cut.
