Hereford United had a reserve goalkeeper in the squad at Cheltenham yesterday, but that hasn't always been the case recently.
For whatever reason Rhett Heister wasn't listed for the game against Macclesfield last Tuesday. However he was on the bench for the Lincoln game last Saturday and at Torquay twelve days ago, but wasn't named for the FA cup-tie at Sheffield Wednesday two weeks ago.
The decision not to name a spare keeper is somewhat surprising as first-choice keeper Adam Bartlett is believed to be having an injection in his shoulder before each game, although given his performance yesterday at Whaddon Road it didn't appear to be troubling him.

He did receive treatment once, but that appeared to be a knock on his jaw.
