The Bulls moved four points clear of the bottom two with their point tonight. They retain three games in hand over Stockport, and two over Barnet with three points on the Bees. Morecambe drew 1-1 with Aldershot to stay within reach.
At the top Shrewsbury moved up to third with a Lionel Ainsworth hat-trick helping them to a 5-1 win at Lincoln. Rotherham slipped out of the automatic spots after losing 3-1 at Gillingham, while Bury split those two sides in the table after beating Stevenage 3-0.
At the foot of League One Leyton Orient beat Swindon 3-0 and Bristol Rovers lost 3-1 at Rochdale, with Matt Done scoring the final goal and Gavin Williams getting booked in a lively last few minutes. Swindon, having played more games than all their rivals, are in the bottom four on goal difference, while the Pirates are four points short of safety with only one game in hand over the Robins.
