Hereford United travel the short distance to Whaddon Road on Saturday for a local derby against Cheltenham Town whose manager Mark Yates has been pre-viewing the game.
"Saturday's game will be great for both Hereford and ourselves," Yates told the Cheltenham OS.
"I went to watch them on Tuesday and they actually played better with ten men but I know they are going to be really up for the game against us and it's a game we are relishing.
"I don't know the record against Hereford to be honest but we can only concern ourselves with the game on Saturday. We will try to express ourselves and if we can do that then we have a great chance.
"Jamie (Pitman) was a tenacious player and he's got his team scrapping and playing good football as well. It'll be tough but it's certainly one we don't need to fear."
