Accrington boss John Coleman could barely hide his delight when speaking to the official Accrington site after tonight's game:
"We were smashing tonight. We really worked hard right until the end. The amount of ground Ian Craney's covered and he's chasing people down at the corner flag in the 90th minute.
"The first half was possibly as good as we can get. On the front foot, making chances and taking chances and defending superbly.
"There was one blip in the 38th minute where a deflection hit the bar and it could have been different if that had gone in, but we went right back up the other end and bang bang. That put us in a great position for the second half.
"I was relieved to get the fourth goal. That took a bit of the pressure off us and then it was nice to be able to see the game out in the last ten minutes and not overly exert ourselves."
