Bulls chairman David Keyte is expecting to meet the Football League in Bristol on April 6th to resolve the ineligible player charge.
The Hereford Times reports that a five man committee will meet to consider the matter. It also quotes Keyte in saying they hope to sign another player before today's 5pm loan deadline:
“We would like to get in a player on Thursday and then that will be it for the season. We think the likes of Fairhurst and Fleetwood will need some help.”
Meanwhile the Torquay-reporting Herald Express suggest the Football League are to revise their rules to end the problem of having three different deadlines on the same day for various types of transfer:
It seems that the League accepts that to have three different registration 'deadlines' on the same day, as was the case on January 31 this year, is too complicated and asking for trouble. A far simpler formula is being sought, akin to the deadline which will mark the closing of the loan transfer window today. That's at 5pm this afternoon...full stop, end of argument.
