Knill Leaves Bury

Alan Knill has left Bury to take the manager's job at Scunthorpe.

A club statement says the Shakers have agreed a compensation package with the Championship strugglers that will see Knill end his three year tenure at Gigg Lane. Assistant Chris Brass and goalkeeper coach Neil Cutler have also left the club.

The Shakers will announce a caretaker boss shortly.
