Plymouth have been dealt a blow after teenager Jack Stephens rejected a £125,000 move to Fulham. They could have sold the 17 year old as he's not on a pro contract, but the player opted against the move leaving Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle scrambling for funds to keep the club going. Histon have had their transfer embargo lifted after satisfying their overdue tax demands.

Bradford say that Accrington wanted compensation amounting to half of John Coleman's contract to take the manager to Valley Parade. Coleman signed a five year contract in October. Port Vale caretaker boss Mark Grew does not expect Exodus Geoghaghon to play for the club again, saying the Peterboro loanee will 'not do himself any favours' by returning.

The local press say Cheltenham's decision not to extend the loan of Exeter's Jake Thomson was a financial one, with the club giving up hope of a play-off place. Lincoln are reported to have been on the verge of signing Walsall's ex-Macclesfield keeper Johnny Brain on loan when they landed Villa keeper Elliott Parrish. Brain is out of contract in the summer.

Torquay have extended the loan of Dagenham striker Gavin Tomlin until the end of the season. The 28 year old has scored once in four games so far. Shrewsbury are trialling midfielder Nathan Rooney after his release from Wolves. The 18 year old is an Eire u19 international.

Morecambe are investigating comments made on Twitter by former Bulls loanee Tony Capaldi. The Northern Ireland international's remarks have brought calls from fans for him to be sacked, while the player has shut down his account with the site. Burton have released young defender Kevin Grocutt by mutual consent. The youth team graduate has recently been on loan at Vauxhall Motors.
