Patrick Collins, in this morning's Mail, reflects.
Peter Storrie, former chief executive of the success story that was Portsmouth, has been sitting on a Football League disciplinary panel.
He represented Hereford and Torquay when each club were charged by the Football League with fielding an ineligible player.
Later this year, Storrie will face trial on allegations of involvement in tax fraud during his time at Portsmouth. Now, some might say that the choice of Storrie proves that football has a Great Big Heart. Others, more cynically, will reflect that you just couldn’t make it up.
