Turner's Reaction After Derby Match

Graham Turner was the happy of the two managers at Edgar Street this afternoon after his Shrewsbury Town side deservedly won the A49 derby.

"We could have played better," Turner told BBC Sport.

"But the result was the most important thing.

"We had to work very hard for it.

"There was a little period in the first half before we scored when I felt Hereford were getting on top and got in a couple of good crosses.

"But we weathered that and the game really turned on the first goal.

"Hard work in the sunshine.

"We did enough, we now move on."
