Two Year Deal For Pitman

Jamie Pitman has agreed a two year deal to continue as manager of Hereford United.

"The results of Jamie's hard work are there for all to see," said Bulls' chairman David Keyte.

"Thanks to him and his team we've had a great turnaround in form this year and he richly deserves the chance to lead us forward."

Pitman took over as caretaker manager last October following a poor start to the season under Simon Davey.

"I'm delighted and thrilled to be given the chance to lead the Bulls into the future," said Pitman.

"This club is in my blood."

On Saturday Shrewsbury, now managed by Graham Turner, are the visitors to Edgar Street

"I'm looking forward to welcoming him back to Edgar Street. Playing for him and working for him I learnt so much about the game and will always be very grateful but on Saturday of course there will be no favours," added Pitman.
