We Need To Get the Club Safe says Pitman

Before leaving for Rotherham this afternoon Jamie Pitman has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that his first priority is to 'get the club safe'.

"That's my priority," said Pitman.

"And that's our priority as a group of people. We need to get the club safe.

"It's massively important that we stay in the football league and to do that we need to make sure we get enough points on the board starting with Rotherham tomorrow.

"With a new manager they will be up for it. They still have a chance of getting into the play-offs.

"So we know it's going to be difficult but our away record is good. Hopefully we can get something from the game."

H&W sports editor Trevor Owens asked Pitman about his future at Edgar Street.

"Hopefully we'll do enough by the end of the season to may be warrant getting a chance of kicking-on next season.

"I think we're capable but we'll just have to see what happens."
