Bulls Target McPhee On PFA List

January Bulls target Chris McPhee has been added to the PFA's list of out of contract players, increasing speculation about his future.

Kidderminster accepted a five-figure bid for the 28 year old during the transfer window, but the player turned down the move and also a later loan approach from Cheltenham. He had an unusual arrangement where he would train with Exeter for most of the week rather than travel from his South West home, and did not want to alter his schedule at that time.

McPhee's inclusion in the PFA list comes after the local press reported in early May that he would not fit into the new - reduced - wage structure at Aggborough. The former Torquay and Brighton man scored 18 times for the Harriers last term while filling a variety of roles as a defender, midfielder, and striker. He was also named as the Non-League's Paper no.1 midfielder in non-league over the past season.

Message board speculation has also linked the Bulls to McPhee's teammate Matthew Blair. The winger, son of Aston Villa European Cup winner Andy, scored 11 times in his first season at Conference level after joining Kiddy from AFC Telford. Blair, 21, is also out of contract but would be subject to a fee.
