The last time The Bulls met Swindon Town was in League 1 season 2008/09.
The County Ground is just 66 miles from Hereford and is an all-seated stadium with a capacity just short of 16,000. There is some parking at the stadium but it has to be booked in advance and is not cheap (even for coaches). There is also some street parking in the areas around the ground as well as at the nearby Cricket Club.
Former managers include Dennis Wise, Glen Hoddle, Ossie Ardiles and the mighty Jimmy Quinn. Paul Hart took over from the departing Danny Wilson in March 2011 but lost the position at the end of April having failed to keep Swindon clear of relegation. They have recently appointed former Italian international Paulo Di Canio to his first managerial post. Di Canio is a UEFA Pro License holder (as is Simon Davey) and will be looking to get his new career off to a good start.
Visiting fans are often housed in part of the Arkells Stand to one side of the pitch with the uncovered Stratton Bank End also used for larger attendances.
Apart from being an easy Club for Bulls fans to visit, it is likely that Swindon will also bring good support and welcome revenue to Edgar Street.
