Stockport's acting chairman Mary Gibbons has resigned from the club with immediate effect. It comes after a week when she claimed to have received death threats from supporters, then tried to get a dozen fans barred from posting on the main fans forum, Yellowboard. Lincoln have parted company with coach Scott Lindsey by mutual consent. The 39 year old joined the club when Chris Sutton was appointed as manager, but it is believed his departure is a cost-cutting measure.

Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler has told the BBC he will be working on a reduced budget next season. He has given his five out of contract players until the end of the week to accept their contract offers, and has said that he will likely have a smaller squad next term. Port Vale have cancelled a planned fans forum for next week, claiming that fans backing Mo Chaudry's bid for the club were planning to disrupt the event.

Oxford have signed striker Jon-Paul Pittman after he was released by Wycombe. The 24 year old had an injury hit season for the Chairboys but has signed a two year deal to become the third signing in a week for the U's. Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler has confirmed that loan striker Cody McDonald will not return to the club as he wants to play at a higher level.
