Edgar Street On Location

Scenes shot at Hereford United's Edgar Street football ground are featured in a new film entitled Contract.

Directed by Barrie Willacott, a conductor with Arriva Trains, the film is about a loyal lower league footballer who falls on hard times and ends up embroiled in the shady, criminal underworld.

Willacott, who has never had any formal training, was moved to make the film after his wife Liz's father was diagnosed with Alzheimers.

Funds raised from the film will go to the Alzheimer's Society. The first showing of the film will take place in Cardiff next month.
