News Round-Up

Macclesfield have signed holding midfielder Scott Kay on a one year deal after he was released by Man City. The 22 year old never got off the bench for the first team at Eastlands. Port Vale are targeting former Bulls trialist Ryan Burge, released Walsall defender Clayton McDonald, and Bournemouth striker Ben Williamson.

Burton keeper Adam Legzdins is close to a move to Derby with the two sides on the verge of agreeing a £200,000 deal for the player. The Rams are expected to loan one of their other keepers back to the Brewers as part of the deal. Cheltenham are reported to be in talks with former loan winger Jake Thomson, who was on loan at Whaddon Road last year.

Barrow have completed the signing of former Bulls midfielder Andy Ferrell on a one year deal. He spent part of last season on loan at Holker Street before being released by Gateshead. Grimsby have signed former Shrewsbury and Bristol Rovers midfielder Craig Disley on a two year deal. Plymouth's Administrator and chairman Peter Ridsdale will face fans on Monday to answer questions on the club's takeover.

Northampton's move for Stockport midfielder Paul Turnbull is back on after the two clubs agreed a fee for a second time. The Cobblers pulled out of the deal three days ago over changes in the terms.
