Not for the first time Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman has been heaping praise on former manager Graham Turner who is in charge at Shrewsbury. The two teams meet tomorrow.
"I'm going up against somebody whom I respect more than anybody that I've worked with," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"I've a lot of time for Graham because he was a big part of my career."
Pitman knows that tomorrow's fixture is a big game.
"I've been at this football club long enough to know what a massive derby game it is.
"It's important for us to get a result.
"Shrewsbury have invested very well in their squad, they have some good players and they are going to be a force this year."
Meanwhile Pitman has told the Shropshire Star about the two managers preferred after-match drink.
"It will be nice to see Graham again after the game, although I think he is more of a red wine man whereas I like a beer."
Finally Defender Ryan Green has also spoken about the game.
"They did the double over us last year but, first of all, we want to get three points to move us up the table," Green told the Hereford Times.
"It would be nice to get one over our old manager and chairman, Graham Turner, and our old coaching staff."
