At the top Morecambe lost 3-2 at home to Bristol Rovers to retain the lead by goal difference only from Shrewsbury, who beat Torquay 2-0 at home. Rotherham slip to fifth after a 4-0 home loss to Southend, with the Shrimpers going third ahead of Crawley on goal difference. Steve Evans' men beat Aldershot 1-0. Gillingham are sixth after beating nine man Burton 3-1, with the Wombles back up to seventh. In other games, Crewe drew 1-1 with Port Vale in their derby match, and Oxford drew 1-1 with Accrington.
