Results Round-Up

The Bulls remain 23rd in the table after today's results, but are now a point behind three sides rather than level on points with two.

Plymouth remain rooted to the foot of the table after a 2-0 home loss to Port Vale, while Barnet are the first of three sides immediately above the drop zone after their 3-1 loss at Crewe. Northampton's goalless draw with Torquay means they are between the Bees and Bradford, who drew 2-2 with Bristol Rovers. After their good start to the season Macclesfield are quickly sliding down the table, with today's 2-0 loss to Cheltenham seeing them slip to 19th. Aldershot are on eight points after drawing 1-1 with Wimbledon, with five sides on nine points. One of them, Accrington, drew 1-1 at Gillingham while Oxford drew 2-2 with Burton. Swindon are also on nine after beating Southend 2-0.

At the top Morecambe are the shock leaders after an even bigger shock as they thumped the juggernaut of Crawley 6-0 in front of just 2,054 at the Globe Arena. Rotherham are second on goal difference after beating Dagenham 3-1, while Shrewsbury are third.

In the Conference, Wrexham and Gateshead remain five points clear at the top despite both being beaten 3-1. The Dragons had a man sent off in losing at Barrow, while Gateshead went down at Fleetwood with new signing Jamie Vardy scoring twice. Kidderminster drew 2-2 at Ebbsfleet, while Forest Green drew 1-1 with Cambridge.
