Hereford United have two home games this week. On Tuesday evening they take on Aldershot and on Saturday, Gillingham are the visitors.
Given the Bulls are bottom but one in the League, it goes without saying that manager Jamie Pitman needs to take at least four points from these two games.
Whilst he will take some positives from yesterday's game at Shrewsbury such as getting two of his substitutions on at half-time which did make a difference by giving the side more width, he will be concerned that there were just four shots on target during the whole game.
In fact in the first half, when the main tactic appeared to be pumping up long balls to striker Delroy Facey, the Bulls managed just one shot.
And there's little doubt that Shrewsbury's first goal was gifted, Marvin Morgan easily getting around Michael Townsend.
But it wasn't all one way traffic. For a period in the second half there were signs that the Bulls might have come away with a draw, especially when Facey's 40 yarder looks destined for the back of the net only to hit the crossbar. Luck was not on Pitman's side.
As for Tuesday's game, Pitman should be able to start Joe Colbeck who came on as a sub yesterday after missing a couple of games. Whether either Stefam Stan or Rob Purdie will return is uncertain. Neither was on the bench yesterday.
