Luton Town manager Gary Brabin is still hopeful a deal can be sorted for Janos Kovacs who has returned to Hereford after his loan spell was completed. At present it looks as though Luton will not have Kovacs in their squad tomorrow for an FA Cup-tie against Hendon.
"We are in constant contact with them (Hereford)," Brabin told Luton Today.
"He has really enjoyed his time here.
"We all know how passionate he feels about the club and we are hopeful we can get something sorted out but at the moment it’s not a done deal.
"There’s a lot of complications. I think if something is going to be done they would rather it was permanent.
"We can’t escape the fact we would have to take him on loan first.
"I don’t think we are a million miles away ourselves, Janos and Hereford.
"He has been back to Hereford this week and they seem to be on a good run and seem to be happy with the way things are going at minute and it ties in with what we are trying to do."
