Jamie Pitman sounded totally frustrated after this afternoon's game at Edgar Street where the Bulls lost out to Oxford by the only goal of the game.
Talking to Keith Hall, Pitman was unusually sharp with some of his answers.
Firstly Hall asked the Hereford United manager to reflect on the game.
"Did everything that we've been working on," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Defended, the majority of the time, very well.
"Huffed and puffed a little bit again as normal. But they are working very hard and they are trying to commit themselves to getting some points.
"I don't think there were really many chances in the game fullstop, for them or for us.
"At the end of the day, like I've always said, it's those who make the least amount of mistakes who tend to win the game. It's more often the case."
Hall asked why Tom Barkhuizen was subbed at half-time.
"He's had a virus over the course of the week and felt very poorly at half-time and I had to take him off."
New loan signing Nathan Elder replaced Barkhuizen.
"He worked very hard. He got us a number of free-kicks in and around the box. He threatened. He did okay."
Hall then pointed out that this was Hereford's fifth defeat out of six at Edgar Street this season.
KH: "It goes without saying you're not proud of that at all."
JP: "Nope"
KH: "Hereford need to pick up points at home."
JP: "Yeap."
KH: "How are you going to change things for Swindon?"
JP: "Ah well, Dave Cornell's going to the Under 21's, Delroy Facey is going to Granada so I'll probably pick from my 14 that I've got."
KH: "Any keepers lined up as you don't want to use Russell Hoult?"
JP: "Not at the moment."
KH: "Are you putting out feelers to get other players in then quickly?"
JP: "Of course."
