Darren Drysdale from Lincolnshire has been appointed to take charge of next Saturday's League Two match between Hereford United and Crawley Town.
The Bulls last met Drysdale at Oxford in February. He booked Adam Bartlett, Joe Colbeck and Waide Fairhurst that afternoon but two goals from Stuart Fleetwood sent the Bulls home happy.
Earlier last season Drysdale was at Stockport when Hereford ran out 5-0 winners.
However it's nearly four years since Drysdale was last at Edgar Street. Notts County were the visitors on New Years Day 2008 for a drab goal-less draw. The only Hereford player booked was Toumani Diagouraga.
The previous season Drysdale refereed two away games, at Shrewsbury in a goal-less FA Cup-tie and a 2-0 win at Stockport which was the Bulls first game back in the Football League.
This season to date Drysdale has refereed 12 games in which he has given out 25 yellow cards.
